Tyco release new Wireless Link to SCATS Traffic Controllers
May 1, 2005 — The new wireless link is capable of communicating in real time to SCATS enabled controllers over the GSM network on General Packet Radio Systems (GPRS). This reduces the cost of deployment of new intersections as well as lowering the monthly cost of communications to traffic controller sites.
