Cuenca Ecuador

In March 2010 Tyco Traffic & Transportation with our local partner Alcolisti, completed an extensive UTC system in Cuenca, Ecuador. The system comprised:

  • SCATS including SCATSMap
  • Video imaging detection (Iteris)
  • CCTV
  • 125 new Eclipse controllers
  • New LED signal heads
  • fiber optic comms
  • control center
  • Configuration, setup and training by Tyco SCATS experts
  • Spanish language SCATSAccess
  • 5 years SCATS support

 

The comms network is fully IP based and all images and data from the Iteris video detection is visible to operators at the control centre.
